Load Binders (Page 2)

A load binder is a device that secures cargo with belts. It is used to prevent load collapse during truck transport and for wire tensioning, etc. at construction sites. Ratchet, cam buckle and other types of fastener are used with load binders. Ratchet fasteners are used to secure large loads because they can be strongly tightened through repeated use of the handle, can be used to lash large cargo, and do not readily come loose. Cam buckle fasteners are compact and allow cargo to be bound easily. Belt tip specifications include hooks, eye to eye, which is lightweight and does not scratch like metal fittings, and endless, which binds without connecting metal fittings. The belt should not be tied or twisted to prevent loss of strength. If the belt comes into contact with sharp edges of cargo, it is necessary to use a corner pad, etc. for protection. In addition, check the belt for cracks, etc. before use.
