Laboratory Materials / Sheets / Packings (Material: Stainless Steel)
Laboratory materials/sheets/packing are products used for covering the top of a laboratory table when conducting experiments or research, and for putting an object of experiment on. There is also packing used for covering wires. These products are mostly made of resin, which is chemically stable, and PTFE, fluoropolymer and silicone rubber are commonly used. All these materials have excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. When moving an object together with the sheet it is placed on, you should also check whether the sheet has friction resistance. Sheets are also used to cover flasks and beakers to block the light or to seal them. They are also used to wrap and discard unneeded materials after an experiment, so be sure to choose a product with acid and alkali resistance. While sheets can easily be cut to any desired size, products with perforated lines can be cut without using scissors.
