Drain Evacuators
Condensate dischargers are devices used to automatically discharge condensate (water, oil) periodically from pneumatic circuits. They are mainly used on air compressors and air dryers. Condensate dischargers are primarily divided into 2 types: float type and electromagnetic type. The float type opens a valve by harnessing the buoyancy of a float that rises when the liquid level passes a certain point. Its major advantages are that it does not require a power supply to operate and produces no air loss. The electromagnetic type uses a power supply and ensures that condensates are thoroughly discharged. It can also be used under an air tank where a float-type drain trap cannot be used. When using condensate dischargers, be sure to check the operation method, processed air flow rate, air pressure used, connecting port diameter, condensate discharge method, mounting position and so on, then determine whether they can be used.
