Saws (Page 2)
Saws are used for cutting wood, stone, metals, resin, drywalls and other materials. They have a characteristic steel-plate blade with teeth configured for ripping or crosscutting. Rip saws are generally designed to be used with both hands on the grip to cut planks held with a foot or by other means. Other types of saws available include compass saws for cutting along a curve, bow saws that can be used to cut and work on bamboos and metals and double-edged saws with teeth for both ripping and crosscutting. Saws come in various types, including relatively small saws using elastomer resin for better grip, double-bladed saws with 1 blade for wood and 1 for resin and products with features to assist those who are not used to using saws such as an aid for cutting straight.
