Gyro Sensors
A gyro sensor is a type of inertial sensor that measures the rotational angular velocity. Also known as angular velocity sensor or gyroscope. It is used in various industries such as in transportation equipment and electronic equipment. The output unit is represented by "dps". The features are that it can detect only the angular velocity of the device and can measure it with high accuracy, that normal operation of the device is possible because less noise is generated, and since temperature characteristics are stable, functional aspects do not easily get influenced by the effect of temperature changes. There are three types: rotary mechanical type, optical type, and vibration type. In addition, the optical type is divided into two types: an optical fiber type and a ring laser type, and the vibration type is divided into two types: a capacitance type using silicon and a piezo type using piezoelectric crystalline materials including quartz. Selection is required according to the characteristics of the equipment used.
