Ferrite Beads
Ferrite beads are components that have both noise reflection and absorption functions. They are mainly used as noise prevention components. They detects and absorb disturbances that occur in signal form, and remove noise by heat conversion. Since they have lower Q than that of general inductors, they can perform noise prevention over a wide frequency range. Ferrite beads only remove noise at frequencies within a resistance band, so it is necessary to select a product that matches the frequency of the noise you want to drop. In addition, they perform heat conversion, so the absorbed noise energy is dissipated as heat. The larger the noise, the more heat is dissipated, so it is necessary to check the design to make sure that it is capable of dissipating the heat.
