Line Filters
A line filter is a component that removes or reduces noise in the power supply line. The product is also called an EMC filter for power lines. The product is used in a wide range of fields such as communication equipment, medical equipment, machine tools, etc. because it effectively removes noise when combined with choke coils and capacitors. Line filters include block types that are effective at 1 MHz to 1 GHz, types with a surge control function, choke coil types that can effectively suppress common mode noise, and chip EMI filter types, depending on the application. In each case, the element is built into a small resin case and offers good high-frequency characteristics. In addition, an inductor is built in to handle various surrounding situations.
