Key Switches for Circuit Boards

A circuit board key switch is a circuit board switch in which a key is turned to ignite a machine, activate a power supply accessory, or switch between user interfaces. The switch cannot be operated without a key, so it can be used for machines that require security measures. Mounting methods include panel mounting, which involves direct mounting onto a panel, and snap-in, which involves pushing onto holes in a panel. Switches mainly have on-off operation, but some are on-on or on-on-momentary. The main operating angle specifications are 45 and 90 degrees. As the number of circuits and positions, positions at which the key can be removed and rated current vary depending on the product, it is necessary to select a circuit board key switch suited to the place of use and application.
