Demand Monitoring Equipment
Power monitoring equipments are devices that output an excess alarm or load control signal according to the power usage status, and manage the excess of contracted power. A major feature is that by using power monitoring equipment to reduce peak values, energy can be saved. There are two types of equipment, one that can measure the power of a single circuit and one that can measure the power of multiple circuits. In addition, some devices can display demand values in real time, while others can check the values on an in-house PC. Some power monitoring equipment has different voltages and phases, multiple transformer systems, low voltage to high voltage support, and some devices have an earth leakage monitoring function.
