Routers
A router is a device that connects individual networks, and related devices. You can connect multiple PCs to the Internet. In the past, the type connected to a cable was the mainstream, but now there are many types that support wireless connection. The external appearance of the router is similar to that of a modem. The lamps are lined up on the front, and LAN cable insertion port(s) are at the back. The port with WAN notation is for connecting to a modem or ONU. Most are in black or white in color. There are individual characteristics for each router, such as products equipped with Trend Micro security, products with a loop detection function that notifies the occurrence of network loops, and products with a large movable antenna.
