[Features]
· E-shaped retaining rings (E rings) are named due to their shape looking like the letter E.
· It is a ring-shaped product used to hold parts by inserting into a cut groove on a shaft from radial directions.
· It is available for shafts only and unlike a snap ring, its nominal size is the groove diameter on the shaft.
· Used to retain parts with 3 prongs inserted into a groove.
· It is convenient to use a dedicated tool (like an ET holder) but a general tool can also be used.
