Screwdriver Bits
Screwdriver bits are generally tools that are attached to the tip of an electric drill, pneumatic drill, or the like. The tip is of a shape that fits the groove in the head of the screw. Screwdrivers with a flat tip are called flathead screwdrivers and those with a cross-head are called cross-head screwdrivers. There are a variety of tips with other shapes as well, such as hex, Torx, box, and round nut. Care is required, as the appropriate rotational speed differs according to the application. Some have magnetic-type bit tips. Some, like interchangeable screwdrivers, are reversible types where both ends of the shaft can be used by replacing the shaft according to the purpose and using the same handle.
