Name Seals
Name seals are tools with characters or symbols carved in. They are used to verify the responsibility or authority of an individual or group by being affixed to a document. Name seals are made of wood, bamboo, stone, ivory and so on. They differ in durability, usability and price. Ivory seals can be used for many years and are easy to use. Some materials are susceptible to drying, so take note of the material when choosing a product. High-durability name seals normally have carvings at the tip and are used together with an ink pad. Some name seals have built-in ink that makes ink pads unnecessary and can be used as a stamp, but note that they cannot be used for concluding contracts that are legally binding or create interests. They are available in various shapes, such as square types like a stamp and products used by combining desired letters or characters.
