Cutting Tools
Cutting tools have blades for cutting materials such as wires, cables, steel pipes and synthetic resin pipes, or for stripping wire coating. Select a cutting tool according to factors such as its shape, material and diameter; and the material to be cut or stripped. Tool types include cable cutters for wiring work, pipe cutters, electrician's knives and tube cutters. When cutting a pipe, the pipe is cut with a normal pipe cutter by moving it around the external circumference of the pipe one time. But there are also tools that can cut pipes in a narrow space where there is only enough space to move the pipe cutter by about 130°, enabling them to be used anywhere. The blades of cutting tools are mainly made from materials such as steel, tungsten and stainless steel, which are selected according to the material to be cut. Be careful because if you try to cut material without selecting an appropriate blade, the blade may chip or its sharpness may be greatly blunted.
