· A concave substrate that allows evaporated film coating of various total-reflection mirrors.
· A concave mirror coated in advance with aluminum is also available.
· It can be used as the main mirror in reflecting telescopes, the reflecting mirror in the collimating optical systems of lamp light sources, etc.
· Selection can be made from a wide range of variations subdivided by external dimensions, radius of curvature, and so on, to suit the specifications.
· Machined with high surface accuracy compared with a plano-concave lens (SLB-N).
· Laser concave mirror substrates (LCBS) with high surface accuracy for use with laser resonator mirrors are also available.
· * The back side is a sanded surface and thus cannot be used for transmission.
· * Use a concave lens (SLB-N) when using for transmittance.
· * For use as a cold mirror or partial reflection mirror, the use of a concave substrate with mirrored back is required.
· * With the incidence of a high-energy pulse laser beam, sparking will be generated near the focal point and the wavefront will be disturbed.
· * The outer ridgeline of the concave surface is chamfered and edge thickness (te) may vary. Therefore, be sure to use the back side as the reference plane.
