The outlet cap is integrated and cannot be replaced separately.

Will the rainproof cable reel be ineffective without using a rainproof plug?

Yes, it will be ineffective. Without a compatible rainproof plug (2P rainproof plug for 2P rainproof outlet, rainproof plug with 2P ground for rainproof outlet with 2P ground), water will enter from the joint and the waterproof performance will be impaired. A standard flat plug can be used as a rainproof type when used with our plug cover.
