[Features]
· "Light" is emitted from the projector as a signal to detect the light reflected from the object of detection on the light receiving part, and gets the output signals by detecting the variation in the amount of light intercepted.
· Sensing distance of 10 m and more is achieved in case of the thru-beam type.
· As detection is performed based on the surface reflection on the object and amount of light intercepted, almost all objects can be detected including glass, plastic, wooden and liquid objects.
· There is no following operation time and response time is very short as the circuit has electronic components.
· The special optical system and circuit employed makes high-accuracy positioning and detection of small objects possible.
· Light has color characteristics, therefore the reflection and absorption rates respectively vary according to the specific wavelengths. As a result, color detection and identification are possible based on the variation in the intensity of light received.
