Application examples
Center joint connection method
| Procedure | Description |
|---|---|
| 1 | Mount the center post on frame Ⓐ. The center post is common to the standard and anti-rotation types. |
| 2 | Insert the joint guide into frame Ⓑ with the M hole. Adjust so the through hole faces up. |
| 3 | While passing the center post through the joint guide hole, frames Ⓐ and Ⓑ bring them together. |
| 4 | Screw the set screw into the tapped hole on the side of the joint guide. |
| 5 | Tighten the set screw, and the center post Pressing against the V groove pulls frames Ⓐ and Ⓑ together and fastens them. |
- Pre-insertion 90° reversing type HMJR: the fastening direction can be rotated 90°.
- Use with frames that have multiple slots on one face: insert joint guides from both ends of the M hole and fasten with several center joints.
- With a frame that has 3 slots, no hole is made in the center slot.
(With a frame that has 4 slots, holes are made in all slots.)
Frames with 2 (or more) slots can be fastened together with 2 center joint kits.
- However, 3-slot frames are fastened with the 2 outer slots only.
