Butterfly Valves（Nominal Pressure：16K）
A butterfly valve is a valve that controls the flow rate or pressure of fluids in a pipe. This is called a "butterfly" valve due to its shape. The cylindrical main body consists of a simple structure in which a circular valve (disk) with the same diameter as the pipe can be rotated. The flow rate or pressure is adjusted by changing the angle of this disk. A feature of this product is the high flow rate adjustment functionality at an intermediate opening angle and the low resistance when the valve is fully open, which makes it easy for fluids to flow and results in low-pressure loss. Also, opening or closing is easy with a 90° turning operation, resulting in excellent operability. The end-to-end dimensions are shorter and the design is more lightweight and compact than other valves for easy installation and removal. Products are made in a variety of sizes for different applications, from small pipe diameters to large pipe diameters. These valves are used to control cold water, hot water, oil, gas or steam. They are used in a wide range of fields, including familiar mains water meters and gas meters, as well as cooling towers for air conditioning equipment, compressed air control in trains and heat supply equipment for construction machinery.

■ Complies with various standards.
· As it complies with JIS B2032, stipulated as the standard for butterfly valves, it is compatible with existing JIS standard butterfly valves.
· The dimensions of the upper part flange use ISO 5211, making it compatible with actuators.
· The gear operation conforms to public building constructions standard specifications.
· JWWA basic standard certified products are also manufactured.
▪ (Certification registration number E-303: SCS13 A - disk/EPDM sheet *50 A - 300 A). The NBR, EPDM sheets have passed the test prescribed in the Notification No. 85 by the Ministry of Health.
· Products whose performance has been evaluated by the Fire Protection Equipment and Safety Center of Japan are also available.
■ Offers high-performance.
· Delivers low torque and improved durability by using the spherical sheet to contact evenly around the inner circumference.
· The disc is kept thin and streamlined because such discs offer less resistance as suggested by FEM analysis.
▪ The small sized ones (50 A-300 A) have been provided with a baked seat structure. As the body and rubber seat are integrated, it can be used with standard products where the flow rate is high and with the 20 Torr vacuum line.
▪ Those with a nominal diameter of 350A or higher have an inset type seat structure, but with the outer protrusions of the rubber seat locking into the groove and thus preventing the seat from slipping, a secure seal is able to be achieved.
▪ Using the optional extra compatible specifications (rubber seat and body are adhered) maintains the same performance as those below 300A.
· All the sizes use a stem bearing for improved usability and durability.
· The rubber seat uses a wide sealing structure with high sealing performance.
■ Delivers a reduced weight design.
· A lightweight design for improved workability when performing piping work.
■ Available in a large number of types.
▪ Can be used for various fluid types thanks to the combination of three types of disc material (FCD450-10 + ENP-SCS13 A, SCS13 A, SCS14 A) and two types of seat material (NBR and EPDM).
· Note that EPDM sheets cannot be used with oil.
· Condensation prevention types are also available.
■ Uses a special safety focused structure than prevents the stem from coming out.
