Machine vision products are devices used in systems designed to operate equipment by image extraction and processing. Types of machine vision products include CCTV lenses used in C-mount or CS-mount cameras, macro lenses that can capture the subject at actual size, and telecentric lenses with a 0-degree angular field of view and chief rays parallel to the optical axis. Machine vision products usually have acrylic lenses or glass lenses. CCTV lenses are known for their freely variable fields of view and working distances. Macro lenses are suited for use at close range. Telecentric lenses are suited to applications that require high accuracy, such as dimensional measurements. Various types are available, so models should be selected to match the application or objective.
