· Large-diameter balls are used and the shaft way grooves are worked into an R-shape approximating the radius of the steel balls, which provides a long lifespan, high load capacity and wide contact area for the steel balls.
· The adoption of a 4-row, 2-point positive structure ensures stable driving with low friction, even when rigidity is increased by applying preload.
· Steel balls have been evenly positioned in the 45° direction in order to achieve the same load capability both vertically and horizontally.
· A fiber sheet that includes a lubricating oil can be incorporated inside of the block body to greatly extend the oil-supply intervals and adequately supply lubricant oil to the raceway grooves. (See p. A-16).
· The balls have been positioned in a manner so that the auto-alignment capability will increase and thus makes it possible to compensate for mounting errors.
