Ball Guides

A ball guide is a type of linear motion part for changing rotational motion to linear motion or linear motion to rotational motion. To change the type of motion while moving, the motion must be transmitted while preventing fluctuation. Common ball guide types include shafts, retainers, bushings and sets. Relatively lightweight materials are used to support the continuous motion, such as aluminum, resin and high carbon chrome. In addition to standard sizes, compact size is available that are useful for moving with minimal sliding resistance in as small a space as possible. A type with a retaining ring to prevent falling is also available, which can be selected according to the strength of motion. Other models include those suitable for specific situations, such as a type that can be used at high speed while restricting heat generation, and a heat-resistant type whose shape or size does not change even if the temperature changes.
