· If the chain is supported with short distances between axes, it can be used even when the shaft is oriented vertically.
· The sprocket diameter can be made even smaller than the belt, even with the same torque.

More corrosion resistant than RS roller chain and RS coating chain, and it can be used in corrosive environments such as underwater, acidic, alkaline, etc. and special low and high temperature environments (-20°C to 400°C). The 18-8SUS (SUS304 equivalent) itself has no appreciable magnetism, but it is cold-worked so may have some weak magnetism.

Maximum allowable tensile strength is 1.5 times SS specification. Corrosion resistance is slightly lower than SS specification. Where corrosion resistance and heat resistance are required, more suitable than SS specification for miniaturization and strong power transmission. Precipitation hardened stainless steel is used, and so has magnetism.
