STANLEY Auto Levels
The Auto Level is a surveying instrument used for checking the level and height of the ground and leveling at civil engineering and construction sites. In building surveying, it is used to measure the depth of excavations done to lay foundations or to align the height of the foundation pile. It is also used for setting slopes on roads and gutters. The Auto Level features a built-in automatic correction function so that the line of sight is horizontal when looking through the telescope. This makes it possible to automatically maintain the level by simply setting the equipment to the approximate level. When choosing an Auto Level, check the shortest focusing distance and magnification. Also check if you need a tripod to use the level. There are precision instruments that are dust-proof and drip-proof because they are used outside, and those that are lightweight, compact, and have a short focusing distance that are easy to use even in narrow locations.
