MISUMI Round Wire Springs
Round wire springs are parts that use the properties of springs for objectives such as supporting a load or supplementing an internal movement in machinery. Round wire spring models should be selected by considering factors such as the coil inner diameter, outer diameter, free height, allowable load and spring constant. In general, most coils with thick wire diameters have ground ends to prevent them from scratching the inside of machinery, while some coils with thin wire diameters don't have ground ends. Round wire springs are made of several different materials. Examples include stainless steel wire (with high corrosion resistance and ample hardness), piano wire (among the harder types of steel wire), oil tempered wire (with superior fatigue resistance) and Inconel (with high heat and corrosion resistance).
