AS ONE Milling Machines
Milling machines are machine tools for fabricating metal parts. A workpiece is attached to the top of an XY table, and a milling machine attached to a rotary shaft is rotated and moved to cut flat surfaces, grooves, gears, and the like into materials such as metal, plastic, wood. Milling machines may be manual types or CNC (computer-controlled) types, and there are compact size ones that can be used on a benchtop as well. They are further classified as those with drill press functions, bed-shaped ones with a broad machining range, etc. There are also centering bars required for positioning and benchtop milling machine holding frame sets, chip trays, and more. The milling machine can be changed to achieve various kinds of machining, and blades and accessories suitable for the purpose are needed.
