ROHM Optical/Imaging
Light and image is a sensor device that converts data obtained from light and darkness into electrical signals. There are color sensors and CCD image sensors. A color sensor is a type of photoelectric sensor that illuminates an object with light, detects red, green, and blue color values based on the amount of reflected light, and detects the color of the object. In addition to a type that illuminates the object with light of a wide wavelength, there is also a type that illuminates with red, green, and blue light separately. A CCD image sensor is an image sensor that uses a CCD (charge-coupled device) that exchanges electrical signals depending on the state of charges that are sequentially sent between adjacent devices. It is a semiconductor element used in photodetectors and is also a type of solid-state image sensor.
