Wrist straps are devices for removing static electricity. Static electricity emitted by human bodies may cause electrostatic damage to ICs and other electronic components in the assembly processes of electronic devices. However, grounding to the skin of a worker's arm or foot with a strap allows electricity to escape, preventing adverse impact on products during work.
