Mill Scalers

Mill scalers are an electric tool that grinds and removes scale (oxide film) of steel plates and steel materials made by hot rolling. Since the steel material covered with mill scale has irregularities on the surface and welding work is difficult, it is necessary to polish and apply surface treatment before the assembly process. There are 2 types of mill scalers, "whole surface type" that scrapes the entire surface of the steel plate and "circular type" that scrapes around the bolt holes of the steel plate. For either type, attach a spare blade, grasp the main body and the handle with the left and right hands respectively, and press from above to polish. The one with a buffer mechanism not only softens the impact and is easy to handle, but it can grind cleanly even if the steel material is distorted. The material of the blades arranged like teeth along the circle is mainly CBN abrasive grains that are the hardest next to diamond, and sparks and dust are generated very little, so it is also excellent in safety and hygiene.
