Punchers (Page 2)
Punch presses are tools used to make holes. Small electro-hydraulic pumps are used to make holes in grooved steel, angle steel, flat steel, and the like. Installing mechanisms that use hydraulics enables hydraulic power to be used in both the up and down directions, enabling work to be done without applying strong force. Manual hydraulic punch presses are suitable for making holes of ø50 mm or greater, larger than those by electric power. Manual types also use hydraulics, so strong force is not needed. There are many types of punchers, including slim hose type for smooth work in narrow places and barrier-free type where the head part can be moved freely. Hole diameter is determined by die size, so size should be chosen to fit the thickness of the plate to be worked, replacement blade, material used, and maximum hole diameter, taking into consideration the application.
