Scribing Needles

A scriber is a tool that draws a line by scratching the surface of a metal such as aluminum, iron, etc. It is used to process lines as landmarks, such as for determining the center position for drilling, the cutting position, etc. The main material is steel for needle-shaped or conical shaped metal rods. There are various types of needles, such as K-type, N-type, pencil-type, etc. so select the one that is suitable for your work. The K type has a scriber with needle on both tips and one end bent at 90 degrees. It is also called "back marking", and the straight tip is used on the top of metal, while the bent one is used on the side or bottom. The N type is a scriber with a spatula shape on one tip. It is also called "bachi-gaki", and the spatular tip is used to remove paint and rust. The pencil type is a scriber that has only one needle at the tip. There are many products that can store or replace needles.
