Tape Measures
Tape measure is a general term for tools that measure length. They range from small ones of about 2 to 10 m to large ones of 30 to 100 m, and they all have millimeter scales. The tape material is glass fiber with little elasticity, so it can be washed with water if dirty. Convex tape measures made of steel stretch out straight when extended, and they are used in all sorts of construction sites. Small ones are mainly used for interior decoration and factory work and large ones for building construction and civil engineering. Different ones are used according to the application. There are those with a stop function can be extended while pressing a button and stop at the position where the button is released, double-coated ones where scales and text do not wear easily, insulated ones made of glass fiber, those with double-sided scales, magnetic tape measures, and more.
