Radius Gauges
A radius gauge is a measuring instrument for measuring the radius of a curved part. It is used to measure the dimensions of workpieces, dies and wooden patterns. The gauge is applied directly to the object and dimensions are read visually. There are various types of radius gauges; products for circular grooves have a semicircular measuring part, and are used to measure the outer diameter of pipes, etc. Products for angular grooves have a quarter circle shape and can measure the corners of desks, etc. There is also an integrated type with a gauge for circular grooves and a gauge for angular grooves at the left and right, where each gauge generally has about 10 blades. The measurement range differs depending on the contents of the set, and there are various scale increments such as 0.1, 0.25, and 0.5, so it is necessary to select the type according to the application. Independent plate-shaped products for each size can easily measure narrow areas.
