Height Gauges
The height gauge is a measuring tool used for machining machine parts, measuring the height of dies, etc., and marking. There is a digital height gauge with a digital display and a standard height gauge with a verna scale. The digital type displays the numerical value digitally when the scriber is pressed against the measurement target. The standard type presses the scriber and reads the measured value from the point where the main scale and the vernier scale meet. Each is measured with the object on the surface plate. Care must be taken because accurate measurement cannot be performed if the scriber is strongly touched or pressed. Marking work can be performed by making the scriber material with a carbide tip. When choosing a gauge, check the measurement range, minimum reading, etc. There is a gauge with a magnifying lens that makes it easy to read the scale, a gauge with a calibration certificate that supports the ISO standard, etc.
