Lifters / Hand Pallets
Lifters and hand pallets are equipment used for conveyance of large and heavy packages that are difficult to move, or for enlarging small working spaces and making height-adjustment, etc. Since they can help conduct these operations with smaller force, operators can work with reduced energy. The primary type of lifters are electric and hydraulic, but there are also foot-operated hydraulic type, electric ball-screw type, etc. Hand pallets with casters are used in warehouse operations, industrial/commercial waste disposal sites, etc.; caster wheel material can be changed by custom order from general-purpose rubber to nylon for overall weight reduction. At food- and chemical-manufacturing sites, stainless-steel-made types are used for their rust resistance property. Forklifts are used for conveyance of packages that are difficult to move with human power. For outdoor operations, counterbalance forklifts are mainly used since they have strong power and are hard to fall over; for indoor operations, reach forklifts are primarily used as they have smaller turning radius and are operated by operators standing.
