OPP Tapes
OPP tape is a tape in which an adhesive is applied to a film made mainly of polypropylene. The product is strong with high adhesive strength, and is mainly used for packaging applications such as cardboard. The tape can be overlapped, and can be written on using permanent marker. Adhesives utilized are acrylic adhesive or rubber-based adhesive. Acrylic adhesives provide excellent heat resistance and weather resistance, while rubber adhesives offer excellent initial adhesion and cold resistance. In addition to transparent tape, the tapes come in an assortment of colors such as black, white, red and blue. Transparent tape can be used without obscuring any printed content underneath it. The colored tapes are well-suited for color-coding based on package contents, or for matching the color of the packaging on which the tape is applied. Tape lengths, widths and thickness vary depending on the product, and some varieties can be used in automatic sealing machines, so products should be selected according to the application.
