Back Wall Material Detectors

A stud finder is a tool for searching for a stud behind a wall, and is also called a stud sensor or stud detector. The mechanism of the stud finder is to detect substances based on the change in capacitance flowing to each electrode. This makes it possible to accurately detect metal, wood, plastic and concrete inside invisible parts, such as behind walls, and to notify this with light and sound. Some products can search for steel frames and steel pipes, others have an electricity detection function, and others can switch sensor modes depending on the wall material and thickness.
