Oil-Resistant and Solvent-Resistant Gloves
Oil-resistant and solvent-resistant gloves provide excellent resistance against oil and solvents and protect your hands. Although disposable types are available as well, reusable types are more common. There are 3 types of thickness to choose from: thin, medium-thickness and thick. The thicker gloves offer stronger resistance, but the thin type makes it possible to perform detailed work. Oil-resistant gloves are coated with nitrile rubber to provide strong resistance against oil, piercing and scratching. Solvent-resistant gloves are highly effective in protecting against acids, alkalis and other chemicals. They protect your hands from a wide range of chemicals, including ketones, salts, detergents and alcohol. Properties (durability, abrasion resistance, etc.) differ according to the materials the gloves are made of, so they need to be chosen based on their applications and usage environments.
