Cotton Work Gloves
Work gloves are gloves worn to protect hands during work. Work gloves can be roughly divided into three main types: pure cotton, blended and specially-spun. Pure cotton is knitted with 100% cotton, so even if it comes in contact with high heat, it will only scorch and not melt, and can thus reduce burns. Blended and specially-spun ones are made by weaving synthetic fibers such as polyester with cotton, so they are weaker to high temperatures than pure cotton, but are more resistant to chemicals. Work gloves vary in thickness depending on the combination of thread thickness, number of threads, and the density of the weaving needle. Especially hand craftsmen need to select a suitable one, because the way they feel their hands work depends on the thickness of the work gloves. In addition, there are several types of anti-slip work gloves, and these are used mainly by transport service providers.
