Contact Pins
Contact pins are crimp terminals for connector termination when soldering is not possible. Connectors fitted with contact pins maintain the capacity for electrical transmission, supplying power and signal transmission, and can be disassembled according to application. Contact pins can also be reused for a long-term stable operation. Contact pins are made of brass, phosphor bronze or pure copper. Phosphor bronze contact pins feature increased flexibility. Pure copper contact pins are used as power supply terminals, etc. Contact pins usually feature tin, gold or thicker gold plating for rust prevention. They can be used in a wide range of applications such as cable-to-cable connectors, industrial equipment and factory automation connectors, and feature different shapes according to the type of equipment.
