Magnetic Sensors（Sensor Type：Magnetic Sensor）

A magnetic sensor is a device that detects geomagnetism and converts it into an electric signal. It can measure the direction and strength of the magnetic field, the measurement environment, etc. There are types such as Hall sensors and MR sensors. The material is a ferromagnetic metal alloyed with Ni or Fe. Hall sensors output voltage using the Hall effect. Since there is a sensor that measures magnetic flux density, it is possible to supply a power with proportional density. Used for non-contact type switches. MR sensors are also called magnetoresistive elements. The magnitude of the magnetic field can be measured using the property that the electric resistance of each substance changes with the magnetic field. Compared to Hall sensors, they feature high sensitivity but low power consumption. Used for position detection and motor rotation.
