Logic Level Translators

A logic level translator is an integrated circuit that performs signal level conversion when there are two power supplies and voltages on one circuit board. The product performs high-speed bidirectional conversion between the power supply and voltage. If the logic voltage is installed on a device that is not the same, the voltage is converted appropriately. In particular, be careful when connecting from a high-voltage circuit to a low-voltage circuit because the device may be damaged. In such cases, use a logic level converter to convert the voltage appropriately. There are two types of logic level converters: an unidirectional logic level converter that performs voltage conversion in only one direction, and a bidirectional logic level converter that performs both input/output on a single signal line.
