Power Distribution Boards for Home Use

The home power distribution board is a power distribution board for supplying power to the outlets, lights and other devices in a residential home. Features include safety devices where the breaker turns off automatically when an overcurrent or other abnormality occurs. A wide variety of home power distribution boards are available according to application. General standard types include those with a door that hides the inside, and those without a door that prioritize operability. Some types are made from plastic, while others are made from steel for easier workability. Types are now available to support energy creation homes that can generate solar or gas power, or use household fuel cells, while others support houses with all-electric appliances such as induction cookers and electric water heaters. Some types prevent fires during earthquakes by activating an electric shock breaker when an earthquake occurs to shut off the electricity, while others are used for special applications such as emergency circuits and lightning arresters.
