Precautions for cutting conditions

Note 1) Adjust the depth of cut ap () according to the width of cut ae.
Note 2) When using long edge inserts, apply the above table to the depth of cut ap that does not include weirs and gates.
Note 3) Wet cutting is recommended.

Cautions/prohibitions

Note 1) General-purpose inserts (RE=0.4 mm, 0.8 mm), burr-suppressing inserts, and long-edge inserts cannot be used together to achieve their full performance.
 Please use inserts of the same shape depending on the application.
Note 2) Machining diameter varies depending on the shape of the insert. Please note that there is a possibility of interference with the holder, especially when machining near vertical walls.
Note 3) Long-edge inserts are designed to handle protrusions such as weirs and gate residues, and cannot be used for deep cutting.
