It is a new coating that demonstrates excellent abrasion resistance in high hardness steel end milling due to the combination of the newly developed (Al, Cr, Si) N-based coating with excellent oxidation resistance and lubricity and the (Al, Ti, Si) N coating with a proven track record in abrasion resistance and high adhesion.

Precautions for cutting conditions

• *1) It is recommended to use this tool only for finishing.
• *2) It is effective to use air blow and oil mist for the coolant.
• *3) Please note the following points when using.
  ·Please warm up the end milling equipment sufficiently so that the depth of cut does not change due to the elongation of the spindle, etc., during end milling.
  ·If this tool is used immediately after the roughed surface, the large unevenness (cusp height) remaining on the roughed surface will cause the tool to bend and leave undulations on the machined surface.
   In order to obtain a good finished surface, it is recommended to add a semi-finishing process with the same ae value as in the above table.
