Product Description
• Longer plunger stroke with no affect on accuracy.
• Carbide is used for the contact point ensuring high durability and wear resistance.
• This model reduces the influence of heat from the operator's hand by 50% by increasing the grip size and making the grip hollow-structured, thereby retaining high-accuracy measurement.
• Alternative indicators may be used in place of those recommended. (Some indicators and protection covers cannot be used with these bore gages.)
• Optional extension rods can be attached for measuring deep holes.
• A Bore Gage Checker and a range of Setting Rings are available to aid in accurately
setting a gage before making a measurement.
The Mitutoyo direct measuring bore gage for small holes is available in two different ranges (metric and inch) to measure inside bore diameters with accuracy to +/-0.005mm. The bore gage comes with nine interchangeable anvils to measure several different bore diameters with the same gage. A two-point contact system detects geometry anomalies such as ovalness and taper.
- Available with or without a Mitutoyo Dial Indicator
- Available in Metric or Inch models
- Metric models have ranges of 6-10mm and 10-18.5mm
- Inch models have ranges of .24-.4″ and .4-.74″
- Large, newly designed grips are easier to hold and reduces heat transfer from the operator for better accuracy
- Models with dial indicators are fully protected by a rugged cover
- Gage stem diameter is 8mm / .375″
- Interchangeable anvils are constructed of alloy steel with carbide-tipped measuring faces for added accuracy and durability
