[Applications]
· This dedicated tool secures 2 cam pulleys and prevents deviation when replacing the timing belt for a DOHC gasoline engine.
[Scope]
· Japanese mini cars and regular passenger cars with DOHC gasoline engines (FF, FR vehicles).
· When using with cam pulleys having a wavy inner shape that are used in some Honda and Mitsubishi vehicles, the pulley may move if external force is applied when the tool is attached.
· May not be mountable on vehicles that are equipped with a variable valve timing function since they have a different shape.
[Features]
· When replacing the timing belt, set before removing the belt to secure the cam pulley position until work is completed.
· Easily mount by operating the knob.
· The offset center bolt ensures space for removing and attaching the timing belt.
· Can be used for vehicles having obstacles between 2 cam pulleys.
