CDL-1515-50PM Cylinder Lens

Caution
Product Description
[Features]
· With a single concave lens made by adhering two cylindrical surface lenses of different wavelength dispersing refractive indices, a narrow line near the theoretical limit can be produced.
· Cylindrical plano-convex lens (CLB-P) is recommended when color bleeding or line blurring is a problem.
· Designed to reduce focus deviation in the entire visible light range.
· Since the direction of the condensing line is parallel to the side (B) of the outer diameter, optical adjustment is easy.
· It can be a substitute for the slit in spectrometers and such.
· A cylindrical lens holder (CHA) for fixing achromatic cylinder lenses is available.
· * Achromatic cylinder lenses are oriented for incidence of parallel light.
· * Have parallel light incident from the surface with the smaller radius of curvature (the surface indicated by the arrow).
· * Having parallel light incident from the opposite side thickens the condensing line.
· * In the generating line direction (B direction), there are no achromatic lens effects, aberration reducing characteristics, or light condensing abilities.
· * When linear light enters the achromatic cylinder lens, it will not be parallel light.
· * Diverges in the generating line direction (B direction).
· * High quality parallel light incident to the lens is necessary to condense light to a narrow ray.
