RODB-05L08 Rod Lens

[Features]
· A cylindrical lens with polished sides.
· Can be used for finely condensing laser light, creating sheet-shaped beams, or for applications in which narrow and long lines are irradiated over long distances.
· The rod diameter has been decreased to allow use as a lens with focal length shorter than the cylindrical lens.
· As it has been processed and polished precisely, a straight line without distortion or bend can be obtained with long-distance projection.
· Can also be used by placing directly in front of the line laser for applications in which large amounts of light are taken in by sensors.
· Use a small lens holder (MLH-10) or Selfoc Lens® holder (MLH-SF) for fixing rod lenses.
· * The end surface has not been polished.
· * Have light incident from the side.
· * Large spherical aberration occurs as the curvature of the rod lens is small.
· * Use a cylindrical lens (CLB/CLSQ) for precision optical systems.
· * Depending on the direction, divergent light may strike the operator in the eye when diverging laser light with a rod lens.
· * Check laser power and take safety measures such as using protective glasses when using the product.
· * Take care to avoid cutting your fingers and hands as both end faces of the rod are not chamfered.
