PPB-25-4 Pentaprism

Caution
Product Description
[Features]
· By reflecting twice with a mirror, the mirror-symmetric reflected image is converted to face the same way as the object.
· Before cameras became digital, pentaprisms were used to bend light rays from an object at a right angle to prevent an image from becoming mirror symmetrical.
· Can also be used as a right angle reference for laser markers.
· Even if the incidence angle to the prism changes, it will always be emitted at 90 degrees in regards to the incident ray.
· Using the internal reflection of the prism results in less angle distortion than when using two mirrors, enabling a more compact overall shape.
· * Blackening may be dissolved and removed when wiped with a solvent.
· * There will be a reflectance loss of 12% with 1 surface and about 23% with 2 surfaces for prism internal reflection due to Al coating.
· * The incident/emission efficiency is around 77%.
